This is one of the best sport routes I've ever done (I haven't done many...but). It is a crimper feast, crimps and edges everywhere. Has 6 pitches, 5 of them bolted and the other is easily protectable. We took a set of stoppers and aliens green to orange. That was plenty. Ah, also 15 draws!
The crux is in the last pitch, so save same energy for then. I was luck to be with Nino, who can climb anything. It also happened that was his turn to lead, so no worries for me.
Some other folks were doing the Yellow brick road. They were a couple from Belgium. The lady was leading all pitches until she took THE WHIPPER. The guy took the lead and they finish just after us.
Rappelling the route is kind of fun, but scary. And we got back to the desert and to Las Vegas just in time for the Grey Hound.
