On the second day, we went with Sebastien to the Devil's Slide. This was a trip that Seb and I did just before Eric's wedding, on May 2003. This is a fine ride next to June lakes. One has to be carefull because it is a tipical avalanche gully.

Since the conditions were stable, we jumped onto it after some bushwaking. Sebastien put on the diesel engine and climbed close to the summit od San Joaquin in no time. I lagged a bit.
The conditions were incredible, particularly for May.

The snow was great, May 2003 was a great month for skiing in the sierras!!
